Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know!

What do I need do bring?

For all hikes we provide snacks, water and hiking poles. You can also borrow a daypack, if you don't have one, please let us know in advance. Some hikes include a homestay lunch. You need to bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat. Also bring your phone or camera, to capture the spectacular scenery. Some hikes take you to natural swimming pools, so don't forget to pack your swimsuit and a towel.

What shoes should I wear?

Solid sneakers that you would wear for running or trail running shoes are ideal for all our hikes. Depending on your personal preferences and ankle strenght, light hiking shoes are also good. Due to cacti and prickly weeds we would not reccommend hiking sandals.

What clothes should I wear?

Most time of the year shorts and a T-Shirt are perfectly fine, work out gear for example. Please note, that you will probably feel more comfortable with knee-lenght shorts and a shirt covering your shoulders and chest.

How can I pay for the hike?

At the moment, payment is only possible in cash at the meeting point before the hike. You can pay either in Euros or Dirhams. We're working on a solution for bank transfer.

Can I take pictures of the hike?

You are more than welcome to take pictures of the landscape and nature. But please be respectful towards villagers, that we meet, and ask for permission if you want to take a picture. Please respect a "No" without losing your smile.
